  1. This sounds wonder, Jan. Do you think it could be made with fresh pumpkin puree. Is two cups of puree enough? BJ
    Yes, BJ, i’m sure it would work with pumpkin.
    2 cups would work but I probably had about 6 cups of the squash chunks–would be less if pureed.

  2. This looks wonderful – my complaint with butternut squash soup is that it doesn’t have much of a ‘kick’ to it. This recipe appears to have corrected that flaw. I’m going to have to try it!

  3. Jan thanks for posting this. One of my favorite calming, comfort meals. I’m going to make this. Wish I had it ready for dinner tonight. Thinking of you often Jan and sending a big virtual hug. Miss you.
