After Venice we traveled in a rental car to Castelrotto in the Dolomites.  We stayed at Haus Siblernagl (suggested by Terry) which was a very short walk into the little town.  The views around each turn were spectacular.

We took 2 day trips.  The first to picturesque Ortisei.  The day was totally overcast so the photos aren’t much but  you’ve got to see this cute place:

The other day we took the bus to Bolzano.  The main piazza was filled with teenagers and beautiful flowers:

And on to Verona where we fell in love with a new (for us)  Italian town.

I had a bunch of shots of the arena but none really were post-worthy.

This was a fabulous trip.  Absolutely no regrets about going under the circumstances.  Ken was a saint, day in and day out.

Can’t wait to go back!
