Countdown Mode: One Week
We are throwing stuff around our room. Packing and editing. I’m thinking I’ll take my larger (24″) suitcase to have space to bring stuff home.
Here’s our itinerary:
Fly from Tallahassee, through Atlanta, to Frankfurt.
Rent a car and drive to Eltville. Stay in small B&B there for 3 nights.
Fly to Milan, rent car.
1 night Lake Orta
1 week Alba

turn in car for
3 weeks Venice
(Take train for the balance)

Allora…we have a week to get it all organized.
OMG Love the hat and boots! I see your bringing gloves? I was considering bringing them wasn’t sure.
Yikes, I’m exhausted just reading your itinerary – 30 somethings would find this challenging. Buon Viaggio – go Jan!
Yay! I’m bringing sweaters and my raincoat. Also my silk longjohns for another layer on the really chilly days; and yeah, I should also throw in gloves and hat just in case. Maybe I’ll knit a new hat on the plane! See you in Venice!
Norine said that my 2 bright scarves made me easy to find in museums and piazzas–otherwise I was all black travel garb.
Have a wonderful, restful (?) time! Seriously, you all do great at balancing rest, physical activity, and fun adventures!
I would need a vacation after all of your traveling in only 2 months – wheww.
